The AlabasterJar Botanical Apothecary seeks to support the health, and wellness of individuals and community through the use of local, native wildcrafted, and other, organic, sustainable, and fair-trade herbs where applicable.

Sylvia studied under Rosemary Gladstar and earned the distinction of Traditional Herbalist, and then rounded out her studies of Clinical Herbalism through The Herbal Academy where she continues her education as it is a life long journey.
Sylvia is influenced by such herbalists as Matthew Wood, David Hoffman, James Duke, Aviva Romm, as well as MANY other excellent herbalists!

Michael is a graduate of Indiana University with a BS in Education. Michael teaches first and second year biology, earth science, and life science at our local juvenile detention center for the past 20+ years.
Michael has been learning and practicing herbalism right along with Bunny these past 20+ years.
